On March 25, there will be only 100 days left until the great sporting event that will boast the participation of over 6,000 university athletes from 124 countries. A series of promotional initiatives, organized in collaboration with various sports federations throughout the country, are planned for the next weekend in order to bring fans closer to the event and to the individual sports disciplines. On Saturday, during the football match Italy Vs. Finland broadcast by RaiUno at 8.45 pm, TV viewers will see the logo of the Universiade Napoli running on the LED screens on the sideline. The Napoli defender Armando Izzo has already made a video inviting them to support Italy during the next Universiade.
Many initiatives are planned for the next weekend in conjunction with Lega Pro on the occasion of Paganese Vs. Casertana and Juve Stabia vs. Rieti matches on Sunday 24 and Monday 25. The two teams will take the field wearing the “100 days to go” Napoli 2019 T-shirt. The National Amateur League will also join the initiative for the matches Ercolanese Vs. Pomigliano, Sarnese Vs. Picerno, Gelbison Vs. Taranto, Nocerina Vs. Sancataldese and Portici Vs. Messina.
The presentation images of Napoli 2019 will run even on the billboards during the Judo Grand Prix Umbria at the Palabarton in Perugia; same initiative in Cercola, on the occasion of the ‘Join the game’ basketball tournament, or in Casalnuovo for the regional Taekwondo Championships. The promotional activity will continue in the firing ranges of Naples, Turin, Verona during the shooting ranking, and on the clay courts of Naples and Cava dei Tirreni, during the first Social Tennis Club.
The official Universiade jersey will instead be worn by the sailors who will compete on Saturday and Sunday in the II stage of the National Circuit in front of Castel dell’Ovo. At the Rotonda Diaz, where the meeting point of the sailing event will be set up, there will be a delegation from Napoli 2019 that will give information about the Universiade event, scheduled for July 3-14.
